The WEST-E Elementary Education exam is for educators pursuing certification in the state of Washington. This test examines the skills and knowledge needed to become an entry-level elementary school teacher, according to state standards. As of September 4, 2014, the WEST-E Elementary Education Exam has been replaced with the NES Elementary Education Exam. The NES contains 2 sub-tests, each of which consist of 75 multiple-choice questions. These sub-tests last about an hour and a half each.
