What is Writer’s Block?
Writer’s block is the feeling of inability to start or continue writing. An easy way to avoid this is to go ahead and start writing something. Often times writers will be so hung up on their work being perfect the first time, they cause themselves to have writer’s block. It is okay if your first draft is not spectacular, editing will clear it up. In relation to editing, make sure to save this step for last. Don’t get so caught up in editing yourself as you write. If you are too focused on what you’ve just written, you are derailing your thought process for writing new content. Another helpful tip is to be relaxed. If you feel you are not relaxed, take some time off from writing and allow your brain to rest during your break time.
