The ILTS Reading Teacher Exam measures the professional knowledge and skills required to become an entry-level reading teacher in Illinois. The content of the test is divided into 4 domains: (I) Language, Reading, and Literacy, (II) Reading Instruction (III) Assessment, and (IV) Professional Roles and Responsibilities. The exam consists of 125 multiple-choice questions and lasts 3 hours and 45 minutes.
