MTTC Reading Practice Test
One of the subtests in the MTTC series is the MTTC Reading (05) exam that qualifies the applicant to teach reading in the state of Michigan. Such an important test requires that the applicant be fully-prepared on test day. Our MTTC Reading practice test was developed so that test takers can get comfortable with what they will see on the test.
However, knowledge of the formatting and rules of the test are also very important to your success on test day, so we want to share some important information with you about the exam that can help you focus your study to what you need to focus on. The test is offered in a computer-based format as well as a traditional paper-based format.
The test consists of 100 multiple-choice questions in the following subject areas: Meaning and Communication (19%), Genres and Craft of Literature and Language (15%), Skills and Processes (18%), Instruction (18%), Assessment (15%), and Professional, Program, and Curriculum Development (15%). The minimum passing score is 220.
