Putting Numbers in Order after Conversion

When ordering a set of numbers that contain fractions, decimals, mixed numbers, etc., you will first need to convert all the numbers to one consistent ‘format’. For instance, when working with the numbers 13.7, 68/5, 14, 41/3, and 13 19/10, the easiest ‘format’ to convert them to is decimals. This will result in 13.7, 13.6, 14.0, 13.667, and 13.9. Once all the numbers are converted, it will be easy to place them in numerical order: 68/5, 41/3, 13.7, 13 9/10, 14.
