For hopeful educators in the state of Ohio, success on the OAE exam is crucial. The OAE Middle Grades Mathematics exam is a computer based test, which contains 150 multiple-choice questions, and lasts 4 hours and 15 minutes. The purpose of the test is to assess individual’s knowledge and skills required for teaching middle grade mathematics. The test contains 4 content domains: (I) Number Sense and Operations, (II) Algebra and Functions, (III) Measurement and Geometry, (IV) Statistics, Probability, and Discrete Mathematics. Taking this exam costs 105$.
