The MTLE Instrumental Classroom Music Exam is a crucial step in the process of becoming a musical instrument teacher in the public school system of Minnesota. This examination provides certification to teach music in public schools for aspiring educators. On the exam, there are two sub-tests, each containing about 50 questions, and lasting an hour, and an hour and 15 minutes.
