Procedural information tells a user how to do something, such as operate a machine. Procedural information can also refer to how to perform a specific task, such as installing a program. Procedural information is a task-oriented document and should not distract the user with details about the product or process. It does not refer to legal proceedings, nor should it explain why a product or process is necessary.
