NCLEX Review: Medical Drug Side Effects Mnemonics
The main focus of this NCLEX review video is to give you some mnemonics to help with remembering the side effects of some drugs. We will start by looking at the side effects of morphine after explaining what this drug is. Then, we will continue our NCLEX exam mnemonic review by looking at “ACHES” for birth control pills, what Lidocaine is and possible adverse reactions, what signs and symptoms indicate an Atropine overdose, what corticosteroids are used for and their adverse side effects. At the end of this video you should have the mnemonics you need to succeed on the NCLEX test.
