Open-End Funds

Open-end funds are mutual funds in which there is no limit on the number of shares a fund can issue. Open-end funds are not traded on the open exchange, but must be purchased directly from the fund or its agent. Most mutual funds are open-end, giving investors a useful and convenient investing tool.
