MoGEA Science Practice Test

The MoGEA (Missouri Educator Gateway Assessments) exam is administered to all incoming teacher certification trainees in the state of Missouri in order to gauge their preparedness for their future certification coursework. There’s no doubt that teaching is an important career. As such, the state wants to ensure you have all the necessary skills in your toolbox to learn as much as you can so you can become an efficient educator. The MoGEA exam splits into four sections, based on the core subjects: Writing; Reading Comprehension and Interpretation; Science and Social Studies; and Mathematics. On this page, you’ll find information regarding the Science portion of the exam, which is typically lumped in with Social Studies.

Where would we be in the world without science? Almost anyone would tell you it’s a vital subject within today’s world. Without it, we wouldn’t understand nearly as much about the world around us and how it works. Science is what allows us to understand how to prepare our meals and what foods are best for our bodies. It powers the cars and other vehicles we use to get to and from work and school. It is what has created the device you’re using to read this very web page.
