GACE American Sign Language Practice Test

Teaching is a challenging job – especially if your goal is to teach a non-native language. If you’re looking to teach sign language to children in the K–12 grade levels in Georgia, prepare by taking the GACE American Sign Language exam. The test has several objectives. It aims to ensure that you have the knowledge required to teach sign language to deaf children. GACE American Sign Language Practice Test

This test consists of two parts, which cannot be combined. The first part requires you to complete 80 questions within two hours. The questions will touch upon features of sign language, learning theories and processes, and culture. The second part is a 20-minute interview consisting of five questions. This recorded interview includes questions will focus on description, instructions, hypothetical situations, problem solving and supported opinion.
