Fire Service

A Fire service can be either a person, group of people, or a set of acting instructions and guidelines necessary to prevent and extinguish fires. A fire service can be seen in the form of a publicly funded fire department, or designated fire safety specialist within an organization or company. A fire service may also commit to joining forces with another local fire service in times of severe emergency through the signing of a mutual aid agreement.
