Tax-Exempt Status

Example of different classes of employees who are considered tax exempt. Agricultural workers who receive payments other than cash. Individuals who earn $2,500 a year or less. College students taking classes and working for their school less than 40 hours a week. Certain US government employees (like diplomats) are considered tax exampt. Minors who distribute newspapers are also tax exempt. Finally, student nurses, still in school, who are paid a minimal amount while they are training, are tax exempt.
