NCLEX Review: Anatomical and Clinical Parts of Teeth

During your NCLEX review of the terminology of teeth, you will come across the terms anatomical and clinical. What do these two terms mean, and how are they different? In this video, we answer these questions by discussing the difference between the two terms in regards to the crown, root and cervical line of the tooth. In preparation for the health promotion and maintenance portion of the NCLEX exam, we also discuss the tooth’s cementum, enamel, alveoli and the cervix of the tooth, defining what these terms are and their relationship to each other.
