What inspired me to pursue my graduate degree is the motivation I have used that has gotten me this far. My father is in the military so I am accustomed to moving around a lot. Since third grade, I have never been to the same school 2 years in a row, except for one. I’ve been to 4 different high schools. Statistics say that a child that moves schools more than twice is bound to fail and I kept that in the back of my mind and told myself that I will prove statistics wrong. So far, I have proven them wrong. All I have to do is graduate and my process will finally be complete. I won’t become another statistic, but a mode of what success should look like to any other kid in my situation.
