Write an essay where you tell us about what drives you in your pursuit of your graduate degree.

If I learned one thing from my father, it is that you can’t put value on education. There is no limit to what we can learn, and learning opens doors for whatever it is we want to do. Young kids say the want to be an Astronaut, NBA players, or Police Officers. These three fields, vastly different in function all share a commonality. Learning is essential. Whether it is Astrophysics, plays, or rules and regulations. This is why learning should never be overlooked. My journey to graduate school stems from a passion I have for learning about others, how to manage them, work along side them, and appreciate them. My MBA degree will help me be a better boss, friend, co worker, whatever I may be and that believe it or not, is something that can be learned and acted upon. I hope to teach my kids the same valuable lesson that there is always room for higher education and if you are learning something new you are ultimately bettering yourself.
