Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

My test preparation tactics are unique and successful for me. Although everyone learns differently, my advice would to use your own personal knowledge. For example, I prepare for tests by taking practice quizzes or making my own study guides before the exam. By doing so, you can get a feel for where your knowledge is on the topic. By using what you already know, you can build your education on the topic. Once you know your areas of weakness, you can target those areas and practice them until you see progress.
When I think I know as much as possible about a topic, I also find it useful to collaborate with others. In preparation for a test, I might ask a couple friends to make a study group, or even have a friend quickly quiz me during lunch. My favorite way of getting help from others is seeing a tutor. Not only can this help target your weak areas, but it also helps you combine your knowledge with someone else. i used this tactic when I prepared for my SAT tests.
Overall, my test preparation advice is to find a baseline of your own knowledge, find your weaknesses, and use peers to combine your strengths on the topic.
