Police officers, fire fighters, doctors, and lawyers are all great careers to have. That’s for the person to decide. But no matter the career a person chooses, everyone has become successful because of a teacher in some sort. These teachers taught them the way to go to be where they are today. To teach someone means to demonstrate skills and give instruction. I would like to tell you why I want to become a teacher. There are many things that have led me to want to become a teacher. There were times that I thought of being something else in life, but nothing else came close to me wanting to be a teacher. I am a product of someone who had a teacher that taught them and had a big impact on their students’ lives. As a child growing up in Brooklyn, New York, I was inspired by an amazing woman named Mrs. T Johnson. Mrs. Johnson helped me find myself. As a growing young lady, I was very shy and didn’t have much confidence in myself when it came school. She taught me that nothing can get in the way of what you want to do in life, but yourself. She reminded me to never doubt myself and go with what I feel. Always to asks questions when something isn't understood. Her favorite line was " no question, is a dumb question", and " if you put your mind to achieving your goals, you shall succeed at them". I continued grow and move on with life and different levels or learning. I had a lot of other important teachers, some who I am still in contact with till this day. Whom contribute to me accomplishing my dreams. These amazing people guided me to my decision of becoming a teacher.Now that I have given you an idea of why I want to become teacher. I would like to tell you exactly why I have taken the steps to reach my goals to become a teacher. I don’t want to become a teacher because of the salary. However, I would like to make a good salary to live comfortably. The salary isn't the main reason to me wanting to teach. Having the summers, holidays, and weekends off is least of my....
