Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.
I am an engineering student which means I have to take lots of math based. To prepare myself for the test I first see which topics i understand and which ones i don't, which determine the amount of time I spend on them. For the topics that I already know I will just do a couple problems until I am comfortable and move on to the things I find more challenging, for example, integrals. First I would attempt to so textbook problems so you can check yourself. If I am not getting I go to my professors office hours for clarity and in the case I am up late or on a weekend I use resources such as the textbook, classmates, or Khan Academy. I will do the problems again and then redo previous class assignments and quizzes.
For classes in which you need to have many facts or vocabulary memorized such as history or psychology, I believe that repetition is key. If there are vocab words you need to know, I would recommend writing it down and the associated definition repeatedly. Another strategy I use for memorization are flashcards. I usually ask my roommate to quiz me until I get the whole stack correct, and if you are by yourself sites like Course Hero and Quizlet work great too,
