Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

The most important part for test preparation is being able to actually understand the concepts and ideas at hand. With this in mind, I ask questions on aspects of a unit that I don't grasp, and then I apply it into situations. Obviously, studying is a key component of preparing for tests, so studying for 30 minutes a day allows me to retain different elements every day while containing the whole spectrum of the topics in my head. This avoids cramming at the last minute, and allows me to get a good night's rest before the test. I've always heard that getting a good night's sleep is key to doing well on tests, and it really does help as sufficient sleep is vital to your brain's ability to process everything you've remembered. Overall, these steps work for me because it just makes sense and is really one of if not the most efficient technique to prepare for tests.
