Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.
When exam week rolls around I am no longer fearful. After numerous youtube videos on "how to be a good note taker" "how to stop procrastinating". I have finally found a routine that works for me. At the beginning of every unit I like to view what my learning objectives. From there I narrow down my reading in my text books. Many find textbooks boring and time consuming, but I have found that when you read what you are expected to know you will have a better understanding of how to navigate through your book. it is also helpful when there are pretests available so you can see where your strength and weakness are throughout you class units. Powerpoints are great resources that professors often provide however they are typically rather long. The same concept applies when note taking from them, always look for the information you need to know based off objectives and base your notes off of that. I used to find myself always over studying material. When plain old reading isn't getting the information stuck in your brain, I always look for videos. Short ten minute videos always have condensed and precise information. I have been in school for a very long time and no matter what exam I am always fearful, but I overcome that fear and prepare myself to the best of my ability.
