Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

My test preparation practices are "old school" compared to what students are using at my university. As much as I want an iPad to take pretty, colorful notes on, I have to stick to good old pen and paper, and the occasional white board and erase marker when I'm feeling flashy! I found that rewriting my notes and then rereading them three times a day helps me learn the material exponentially faster. However, I try not to just read the notes each time, after the first few times of reading my notes, I start trying to recite the information from memory and my new knowledge. After a week of reviewing my notes three times a day, I know the information and it helps because I no longer have to cram weeks worth of material into 3 days because an exam is coming up. The best part is that this method of studying literally takes 30 minutes or less.
