Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.
When studying for any material that I need to know for my courses I have a set study plan that I use for learning them. First off I needed to determine my learning style before creating this routine. I am very much a visual learner so I set these tips up based around that. When taking Lecture notes I always color code them. This helps me to keep myself organized and it makes writing them fun! Once I have all of my notes together I then take to my studying routine. To start, I will always make flash cards for any material I need memorized, so that I have them in case I need a break from actual writing assignments. I will then go through my notes and begin looking at YouTube videos to help me to actually understand what I need to learn. When your material makes sense, then it is much easier to learn in in my opinion. After doing this I will write down important points to the video, and review the material if I really need to. This is how I study for my subjects. Then before the actual exam I may review the note cards once or twice but I do not review on the test day. It makes me feel more nervous and I am usually prepared so this is not necessary. This is how I study for an exam.
