Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

I haven't always been the best at studying, since I was homeschooled and didn't have to take tests, but once I entered college, I learned some techniques that have helped me get great scores on exams. I recall in one of my classes I had a lot of short online quizzes, so I compiled all the quizzes from that semester with all the same questions and possible answers to create something that was like a huge exam. I ended up getting something around 108 out of 112 correct every time when I practiced, so I felt confident going into the exam. When it came time to the exam, I felt extremely prepared. Another thing I do is using various platforms where I could create my own flashcards and learn in different ways to make sure the content is memorized. I'm not always the best at memorizing facts so I try to find stories or connections with other things in my life to make sure the information I am trying to learn stays in my mind. I have gone from a nervous, unconfident student to someone who knows their strengths and can walk into an exam feeling very prepared.
