Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.
Every student learns differently, but for me, I rely heavily on memorization. Now again, there are hundreds of ways to go about that, but after lots of trial and error, I think I have found a great way. In class I take the notes provided, but after class is when the opportunity for success really lies. I take my notes and create different types of questions based off of what I learned. From multiple choice questions to free response, I write all sorts of different questions from the notes I learned that day. By the end of the unit I have a whole set of questions that is my very own study guide straight from the notes. With this I am usually able to predict a few questions on the test, as well as make sure I have a clear understanding of everything I learned that day.
Overall, from all the methods of studying I have practiced, I have found this one to be the most reliable and the one that helps me to actually remember what I've learned rather than just cramming only for all of the information to be forgotten right after the test.
