In order to prepare for a test I have three important tips: study for the test each day leading up to the test (except for the day/night before), USE QUIZLET, and indulge in self-care the night before.

When I am learning a new topic, I go home and try my best to learn it. I try to learn the information overtime, so I will be able to better retain it. It takes time to learn new things and the process of learning is one that should not be rushed.

Furthermore, if you do not use Quizlet you should probably change that. Today in society everyone is on their phones. They take it everywhere with them and they never leave home without it. Quizlet is an app that can help you prepare for a test. You can use it on the go or when you are at home. All you have to do is make flashcards with the information you need to know. The app even has a practice test section and games that you can use to see how prepared you are for your test.

Lastly, the night before a test I focus on clearing my mind. Instead of worrying about the topics about the test the night before, I put all of my energy into myself. I do the things that I love most. For example, I'll read my favorite book or watch my favorite show so I am relaxed and ready to tackle the test the next day.

In my opinion when you are taking a test you should be free of stress. If you study the night before or even right before the test you will stress yourself out. You will be too focused on learning the material for the test rather than your mental and physical state.

Self-care is one of the most important aspects of test taking. No one wants to go into a test tired or nervous. The night before a test should be dedicated to you making sure you are your best self when it comes time for you to prove what you know.
