Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.
Studying was something I rarely did in high school. All four years of material came exceptionally well to me. Going into college, I didn't really know what to expect but I assumed to material would come to me as naturally as it always did. After failing my first test in math, I knew that studying was a skill that I would have to familiarize myself with. Repetition and taking notes has become a huge part of the way I study. The more I see and write down the information, the more I am able tp remember it. For example, learning math on an online module program was something I didn't think I could do. But I quickly began to look for ways to familiarize myself with the difficult content. The study plan for each part of each unit became my best friend. I went through every plan and worked out every set of problems for required 5-10 questions per sub module. Doing the problems that many times plus having some very detailed notes out of it helped the content stick. The more I used those strategies, the more successful I became.
