Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

As children we are often asked what we want to be when we grow up, now for me it was three things: a princess, a vet, and a writer. Over the years interests change, I dropped wanting to be a princess in about 2nd grade. Around fifth or sixth I realized I didn’t want to see animals in pain everyday so I dropped wanting to be a vet, but one passion that has stayed with me throughout my life is writing.
Writing is an amazing escape and relief for me. When I feel overwhelmed I write out my feelings and suddenly everything doesn’t feel like its collapsing around me. I grew up around creative parents, both of whom are artists in their own right. My mother is a graphic designer and my father designs cars, so naturally I grew up to express myself in creative ways.
The stories I create are practically an extension of my soul. Each one of my characters is an extension of myself, and I think that all of this is a result of reading and watching characters that have the heart and the passion of the writer that created them. I wanted to have that.
I feel that the scholarship would greatly improve my chances of having these experiences. If I were able to pay my college tuition fairly fast and pain free I can start everything I’ve wanted since I was a little girl.
