Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

I was in the Marines for five years, and during this time I found the best discipline strategies possible to achieve goals. Currently, I am two years into schooling as a physics major and have taken these strategies and applied them to college:

First strategy: Do whatever it takes. Go through all of the homework between the current time and the last test and redo all of it. This will take a lot of time but will give you an in-depth review of the subject matter before the test. Ensure that you get every question right, and if you do not, go back to the problem you got wrong and redo it until it is right.

Second strategy: Practice, practice, practice. Go through all of the definitions in the covered material and write it town on a sheet of paper. Then get an accurate memory of each thing written down. Cover up the definitions with a piece of paper and go through one by one. If you even got one of the definitions wrong, go back and start over again.

Third strategy: Understand concepts through in-depth research. If you do not understand a concept, go research it from every angle possible until you do. Go to the library or utilize credible sources online. This day in age, there is really no excuse for not having enough information.
