Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

I read the all the material of the subject. Then re-read portions asking questions about the importance of the material also how it connects to other topics or subject matter. Taking special care to remember facts that would otherwise not be obvious about a subject e.g. 13 US Courts of Appeals or appellate courts is an example of a fact to take special note of-its not obvious from observation or deduction. Once the material is understood at some level, then I will take practice tests, and take the same ones over and over until I get every answer right. I also like to explore difficult topics, so as to be comfortable with the subject matter. If the work is an analytical subject e.g. math or physics, I will work through all the problems, to include the most difficult ones.
