Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

After completing a full academic year at the U of A, I learned a lot about myself. I can testify that I developed some effective test preparation skills. I am a visual learner and I think knowing your learning style will have a great impact on your test preparation skills. Since I am a visual learner, I like to write out test questions and answers. I like to physically see what I wrote down and I like to memorize the concepts I need to remember to obtain the highest possible grade. Most times when I have enough time to I will handwrite my answers on flash cards or other times I will use Quizlet to create my own set of cards to memorize.
I think knowing your own learning style will benefit you so much, like I had said in the previous paragraph. Some people learn best by performing the task they are trying to perfect, many learn by seeing someone do it in front of them before they have an attempt at it, or some prefer to read about it before having any kind of attempt. Knowing this before will allow you to learn things so much faster and it will more likely to have a permanent effect and you will know this for a longer period of time.
My preparation practices are different from other people and it is completely okay, because my brain is nothing alike compared to the person next to me except for the shape of it. I am hoping that this routine and practice is very effective for me especially if I am going to be studying to apply to vet school in a few years.
