Test can be extremely stressful and can feel like life or death. However, there are some tips and tricks to get you through it. The most important thing to remember before a test is to get some sleep. Once way to ensure you get enough sleep is by planning to study ahead of time. Scheduling is extremely important, so you can have enough time to study without getting overwhelmed or tired. If you try to cram everything into the night before your mind will be tired and will not retain anything. Studying throughout the week as opposed to overnight ensures you retain what your studying. Also, it allows for time to get help in anything you don’t understand completely. Something that is helpful especially when you have multiple test within in a short period, such as finals week, is to take time for yourself. You must always take time relax your mind. Some self care activities could be a bath, eating lunch with a friend, or even watching your favorite show. It's always important to take a short break from studying to recharge your brain before hitting the books again. These tips help me keep myself calm and confident when I take a test.
