Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.
Not cramming before test is a great tool. You should give yourself enough time to study to be more at ease. It is in your best interest to study awhile before the test and not try to cram the night or class period before. Sacrificing 5 to 6 hours of sleep to study is counterproductive. Sleep is crucial and another essential to prepare for a test.
Arriving early on test day allows you to ask last minute questions and ask the teacher for tips and possibly tricks to ace the test. Getting there early gives some leeway room to clear your mind and calm down. Showing up early can open up time to ask peers for clarification and see if you can help them.
Creating flash cards are one of the main test preparation tools that I use. Flash cards let you quiz yourself or have other people quiz you. They also help you get a visual representation of the material that you are suppose to learn. Processing through the connection of the questions written on the flashcards to the correct answer can also help.
