Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.
It has been said "It is true intelligence for a man to take a subject that is mysterious and great in itself, and to unfold and simplify it so that a child can understand it" (Preach My Gospel, 185) As the quote explains, and as I've experienced teaching others, a useful way to see how your progress and knowledge of a topic currently is at is to teach what you are studying. As I have taught my friends what I am preparing to test on I have seen an improvement in my studies because I am able to see what more I need to know.
Studying as a group is a magnificent tool in terms of test preparation. When the mental blocks hit and studying for the stupid test seems impossible, a relief and salvation I have found in my life is freeing my mind by opening it to the thoughts and ideas of others. Having another perspective to take in have allowed me to learn efficiently and prepare for my tests.
Lastly, an obvious advice to preparing for the test is to use the resources (such as review and study guides) that a teacher provides for the students. These resources help students know the expectations of the teacher and the content of the test, which provides a direction of how to prepare for taking a test.
With the multitude of ways to prepare for a class:simply teaching, groups studies, and using reviews are some ways I prepare to test.
