Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

Throughout high school, I have had to find ways to help me prepare for tests, due to me attending an early college high school since I had to prepare for tests at a college level, and over time I found better ways to prepare for my tests. What I found to be the most successful was creating practice tests by taking questions for the textbook for the class and then reviewing the questions and seeing why I got them wrong and how I could do better, and I create note cards to help me.
By creating my practice tests, I could see which kind of questions I was good at and what I needed to improve on. It also showed me whether I could answer hard questions on a topic or only easy questions. Creating and taking the practice tests works for me because it allows me to see what I know about the topic and be in the testing environment to help me when I take the actual test. After taking the practice test, it allowed me to create a study guide since I would know what to study since I got those questions wrong on the test. The practice test became the basis for my review sheet, and after I felt like I reviewed enough, then I would make another practice test and see what I did wrong.
Another thing that helps me prepare for my tests is that I create note cards to help me review specific details such as vocabulary and formulas so that why I can keep these things in my mind. During my Engineering Physics class, I would make sure to study the formulas and how to use them, and to study them what I would do is put a formula on one side of the note card and then what it gives you on the other side. The note cards also allowed me to study while I was walking between classes since they are small enough for me to carry wherever I go.
These study practices helped me study for my test by giving me a quick and easy way to review that I could use to spend my time studying what I need to, and they are preparations that I use to this day.
