Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

As class comes to a close on a Friday afternoon, the teacher yells out, "Do not forget about your test on Monday!" Panic floods the room. Everyone seems to be suddenly inundated with stress--everyone except me that is. I am fully confident in my test preparation abilities. Plus I have an entire weekend to get ready!

I begin with going through and ready any material from the class. This includes anything from notes to textbook readings to previous classwork. I try to absorb as much information as I can. As a visual learner, I often highlight or rewrite important points in order to ingrain them into my mind. I then take these key concepts and create flashcards. During tests, I am often able to visualize the information on these cards.

As Sunday night rolls around, I make sure to get to bed nice and early. A brain needs to be well rested to perform the best! I also kick off my morning with a healthy breakfast. I want to be completely focused on my test, not on my stomach growling!

The bell finally rings, and everyone rushes to class. I am entirely calm, as I know that I have prepared myself adequately for this test. I have all of the information I need to succeed.
