Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.
The way I practice for test is by using resources and practice. What I mean by using resources is that you ask for help from those that know. Take advantage of all the test prep questions, booklets, or people who know about the test. This not only helps you use your communication skills but it's helping you in the long run. When you use resources from different places or people, you learn more and find out what questions you need to work on or even what sections. Some sections of the test may be easier than others therefore shift your gear to practicing what you lack knowledge in. Practice makes perfect is not a myth. When you practice content so much you start to learn way more. Not just that I also write the problems and as I am writing them, I am always saying everything I am doing. Not only are you practicing by writing and seeing it but you will grasp the content even more because you are speaking it and hearing it yourself. Some times I have also for multiple choice is never second guess yourself. Read through all the answers and read it slowly and carefully. Mistakes are made often when rushing. There will always be two answers that are good but there is always one better. I always found it helpful to have someone test me or have someone to study with. If you know how to stay on business this is a great asset for preparing yourself on test dates. One last thing that helps me and many think is overrated are, flashcards. Flashcards are great! You write them, you see them, you say them, and hear them. You also get to test yourself and self correct what you are lacking. Everyone has different strategies so make sure you try them all and see what may work for you.
