Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

My test prep seems obvious to me; I try to never miss class, I take good notes, ask questions when I need to, do all of the assigned homework and STUDY! My secret weapon is that I have a twin sister who takes the same classes that I do so I have a built-in study-buddy! My sister and I are very supportive of each other, but VERY competitive with the rest of the world. We want to be the best in sports and in school so we study a lot. One sort of unique thing that has worked for me (us) is youtube videos. We've found tutorials for just about every subject imaginable and watch/listen to them constantly. I'll even have the audio on when I'm in the shower, just to make the most use of my time! Video Spark Notes is just one of many places on YouTube that I've been using recently.
"Fortunately" I just had knee surgery, so while my sister is off at sports practices, I do have a little more time than she does. I'm taking 6 AP exams over the next 2 weeks, so I don't have a lot of extra time to devote to scholarship applications. My study habits have been working for me. I've passed 4 AP tests so far (sophomore and junior years) and have a 99% average.
Thanks for considering me for this award. Gotta get back to the books now!
