Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

How do I prepare for a test? The answer varies from class to class, I don't have one specific way. History for example, we get the study guide a week before the test, but it doesn't start there. As my teacher lectures throughout the weeks before, I take down key notes of what I think is important or stands out to me. I review those notes when I go home, highlighting what I need to remember. Then once we get the study guide, I begin to make flashcards, both by hand and on Quizlet to keep up the practice. For English however, as we read through the book I annotate, whether that is in the actual book or on sticky notes, putting down interesting fats, key terms, words I don't know. Later, I will go back through and review the notes I took on those chapters. It has been a long time coming, trying to figure out study habits that work for me, but reviewing in these ways, everyday with a light snack and a glass of water have seem to do me well. These don't work for everyone, I have seen first hand, but they work for me and I am more than ok with that.
