Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

Hello there, my name is Levi Dirig and I want to tell you why I think I deserve the Mometrix Scholarship and what kind of impact I made to my school. Back when I was very young, I was diagnosed with Autism. It impacted me because I learn and process things differently then most other people and I had trouble interacting with the kids at my school wherever it would be through coming up with conversations or through eye contact. Not only that, but it impacted my family, friends, and teachers too. However as time went on and as I was growing up, I learned a lot of important skills and lessons that made me the person that I am today such as being organized and to put others first before yourself. Even though I have Autism, I have met a ton of wonderful friends that are humble, really kind and caring, and will always be there for me in my heart. I have also gain a lot of hobbies that are relaxing to me like being outside, playing video games, running, and listening to music. I’m now a senior at Norwell High School and I can’t believe that I got there already. Over the past four years, I have tried a lot of new things to help me figure out what I’m good at like Project Lead the Way and Yearbook. Also, I have participated in a couple of extracurricular activities like Cross Country and Track/ Field. I am also one of a few students with a disability to get distinction and honor roll for all four years. That proves that students with a mental or a physical disability can make a big difference. I don’t know where I want to go for college and I don’t know what my career is going to be, but as time goes on, God will help me choose what I want to do. I’m going to miss my friends dearly, but I am thankful that I came to Norwell.
