Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

If any resources are given to me from a teacher to prep for a test, I use them! Study guides, open-notes, links to a website with practice questions, books geared towards improving my testing skills, I use them all! Study guides are most common in math class and typically present the problems in the same format you will see them on your upcoming math test. My language teacher also gives us study guides that we are allowed to use while taking the test! If you know a resource like that is available, use it. When prepping for the SAT and some AP tests throughout my high school career, I took the recommendations of which test prep books to buy and paced myself when going through them. It definitely helped me improve my SAT score. If I'm ever struggling with a concept, I use the internet to my advantage, looking up instructional videos or webpages to add to whatever knowledge I already have from class. It has saved me many times in math class.
Overall, what I'm trying to say here is: if a resource is available, use it, take advantage, don't let it go to waste. That's what I do!
