Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

Many students prepare for test the same way. They spend hours taking notes or reviewing materials. Well for me it is a little different. I do not feel the need to spend hours studying materials, if I know it I know it. So for me i just go over the notes I have already taken the night before and then the following morning right before class. My study hours usually range from seven at night to one in the morning. Also an odd study request you can say I have is I can not study at my house. Coffee shops or the library is my go-to study location because there is something about others around me that helps me focus. That is the way I retain my information. One thing is for sure and I believe is the biggest help. I always need to have a piece of gum in my mouth because it helps me concentrate as odd as that may be. Their are those certain exams that I need to go above and beyond on, and my study methods are altered. On those occasions I like rewriting on note cards with pens because that helps me memorize. Studying with peers as well is a good skill I enjoy utilizing. The only problem is this usually takes needed time set aside. Going to the library after school hours is always a good time and is another set time that I actually pay attention. So each and every student has their own set of study skills and process. No matter how you study all that matters is if it successful to you and your testing needs. College is no walk in the park and studying is essential component in passing your courses. The weight of exams overpowers all other graded material, and that is something I learned the hard way. Creating those useful skills is key and I recommend all figure out the right way for you.
