Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.
I have a study system that has worked great for me! First, I like to have a study guide made up. Whether it be a practice test, or just notes taken throughout the week, something that will help me study. A few days before the test, I will look over that study guide I have, and re-write everything on a piece of paper. I tend to remember things I write down really well. The night before the test, I will read through the study guide and highlight important details in notes, and/or the correct answers on a practice test. That highlighted notes really stick to my brain well. If there is anyone at home during that night, I will have them quiz me a couple of times as well. The next morning, I will get up an hour or so earlier than normal, while everyone else is still asleep, and there are no distractions, and read through my study guide several times, until I feel confident that I know all of the information on the study guide. If I have time before the test, I will go through my study guide one more time, just as a refresher. I started following this process in high school, used it while I was earning my associate's degree, and while taking several certification classes for my job, and it has served me really well.
