Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

Usually, my school covers test preparation with tips such as annotating and reading through all the questions first and then read the passage. I find that instead of excessive annotating - which usually makes my paper messy and make it harder to see the actual points of the text instead of my ramblings of what it could've been - I read the passage once, go through all the questions and bracket off or underline where it's referencing, and if I don't know what the answer is I use context clues or reread the passage to get a better understanding of the text. To boost my reading time I practice speed reading and take a lot of online tests that focus on reading speed and comprehension. Essentially it's just dedicating time to practicing, asking teachers for help and work on focus times.
