Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

Frequently attending tutoring sessions, studying at the library, and taking notes on unlined blank copy paper are three ways I prepare for tests.
First, attending tutoring sessions, which is humbling at the beginning of each semester, formulates a communication system between the instructor and me. Investing time into our communication facilitates a relationship that allows me to know the instructor and the context that is being spoken. When I know the language and the context, I am prepared for the types of questions that will be asked during class and exams.
Second, I prepare by studying at the library where it is peaceful. I can concentrate. I can hear and organize my own thoughts. Being able to create an organized thought process helps me solve equations or a science lab activity.
Finally, I study with notes I take on unlined copy paper. I know that sounds simple and silly, but its true. A blank page allows for notes to go in any direction that I need them to, When there are lines on the paper, my mind is limited, it thinks that I need to follow the line or to stay between the lines. A blank sheet of paper doesn't have those restrictions.
My great test preparation, communication, organization and going in the direction i need to go, is not only preparing me to excel on tests, but in my life as well. So often in society, individuals live under the notion that we must exist within the lines. When I am prepared, I can cross those lines or push the limits of those lines. I can achieve anything that I set my mind to.
