Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

As a honest person, like the most of us, I dislike taking tests, as well as the preparations of it. Although I find certain techniques helpful. Some great test preparations I find helpful is a lot of studying, a good nights rest, and if you don't understand something, ask for help.
For studying, I generally use the app, "Quizlet," as well as reading and understanding a book pertaining to the test. I also use note cards with certain questions and vocabulary words, on one side, and on the other side, the correct answer. I usually study by myself, or with somebody, such as my sister, repeating the right answer, until I answer correctly with confidence. In addition I have a timeline of when I should study. I start studying a week or two ahead of the test day, by studying an hour every other day. Then when the day before the test comes, I study right before I go to sleep, because researchers say it can help with memory. It is also important to get a good night sleep, the night before, to have the energy to take the test the next day. Lastly, when I get stuck on a question or need help understanding something during school, I start off by asking the teacher that would be giving out the test. Although if I'm at home, I ask my classmates for help.
In conclusion, studying is a key to success. Studying in a timely matter helps me memorize and be confident in my answer when I'm taking the test. In addition, good sleeping habits helps me have the energy, as well as, being well-rested helps me stay focused. Lastly, help from teachers and fellow classmates gives me the the confidence to answer the questions correctly because they helped me understand the concept.
