Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.
When I am preparing for a test, I go through my notes and highlight all of the most important information. Then I use the highlighted information to create a test for myself with questions about the highlighted information. After I have taken my practice test without looking at any notes, I check to see what information I either answered incorrectly or did not answer at all. This information that I do not know I highlight with a second color or underline with a pen. Once I have determined what information I do not know, I create a new practice test for myself with this information. I repeat this process until I feel confident with all of the material for the test. I go through this process in the days leading up to the test. The day before the test, I retake the first practice test with questions about all of the key information to reinforce all of the important information. These practice tests and highlighted notes then serve as studying materials to look over the day of the test.
