Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

There are many test preparation practices I have learned through my education career. The first practice is getting a good night sleep. I prepare my mind and body for a restful sleep to be able to be fresh on the morning of the test. Arriving prepared and early is the next good test prep practice. I prepare any needed materials to be brought with me and plan to arrive 30 minutes early to ease the stress of traffic or parking. Test preparation should start well before the night of and day of the test. Proper daily test studying leading up to the day of the test is crucial. Outlining key subject areas to prepare for and spending multiple evenings learning the content will help you feel prepared.
During the test, there are strategies to use.For reading test, I like to pre-read the questions and answers so I have a better idea of my purpose for reading and can key in on the answers. I don't spend an excessive amount of time on one question. If I am stumped I will skip it and come back to it at the end. For written test essays, I am sure to jot a clear outline of key points and work from the outline making sure I have a strong intro and conclusion.
These test preparation practices work for me. Each of these steps relieves my test anxiety and helps me go into a test confidently.
