Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

I have two ways that I can learn. First, is through reading the material. If the material has a lot of numbers to memories it is easier for me to remember the numbers and statistics visually through reading. The second way is through watching and listening to a presentation. Listening allows me to absorb more information while the presentation gives me a picture to reference. Testing myself through test questions is also important to make sure that I understand the information. I retain more information from looking up specific information that is asked then by simply guessing at the question. It is also beneficial to rewrite the information or state the answer in my own words. By simply checking an A, B, C, or D answer my mind begins to ignore what is actually being asked and instead remembers just the letter answer making the pre-test pointless. This is why it is important for me to read and watch the information being presented because it presents a point in which to reference not only in the material but also in my memory.
